Jazz at the Crypt has been running beneath St Giles Church in Camberwell for decades, bringing musicians and audiences into a low-ceilinged brick crypt below the church. It’s intimate, a little improbable and exactly the sort of place jazz should probably be heard. Head downstairs, find a table and spend the evening somewhere that feels very removed from the street above.
